Don Gamel Obituary
Mr. Don Olin Gamel, age 84 of Hoschton, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 2, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Braselton with Pastor Mike Day officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. prior to the service at Memorial Park Braselton Funeral Home.
Mr. Gamel was born April 24, 1939 to the late Veto & Leora (Bedwell) Gamel in Cedartown, Georgia. He was a retired mechanical engineer and attended Celebration Church in Flowery Branch.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Frazier Gamel; sons & daughters-in-law, Don Olin, Jr. “Chuck” & Terrie Gamel; William Brian & Mimi Gamel; daughter & son-in-law, Karen Faye & Scott Bargatze; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Celebration Church building fund.
