In Loving Memory of Doris Roberts Seabolt
Doris Roberts Seabolt, 81, born on March 29, 1945, passed away peacefully at home on June 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and treasured memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Doris retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and continued to work another 10 years at Lakewood Baptist Church. She was known for her warm spirit, her sense of style, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures.
She looked forward to getting her hair done every Thursday and loved dressing beautifully and wearing her prized jewelry. She especially cherished spending time with her family, whether enjoying dinner out together or gathering to play games. Those moments of laughter, conversation, and togetherness were among her greatest joys.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt and Lillie Glenn Roberts; her beloved husband, Ronald Odell Seabolt, known to many as “Big G”; her sister, Linda Hulsey; and her brother-in-law, C.L. Castleberry.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jon and Tina Bargar; her grandson, Jacob Bargar; her brother, Johnny Roberts and his wife, Thea Roberts; her sister, Peggy Castleberry; and many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Doris will be remembered for her elegance, generous heart, unwavering love for her family, and the happiness she brought to those around her. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed every day but lovingly remembered always.
