Dorothy Moore Eaden

Mrs. Dorothy Moore Eaden, age 60 of Lula, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Edmondson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, December 29, 2025 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Eaden was born May 17, 1965 to the late William Cas Moore & Georgia Parker Moore in Williamsburg, Kentucky.

She was a beloved North Georgia resident and retired Postal worker from the United States Postal Service. Her life was defined by kindness, grace, and a gentle spirit that touched everyone she met.

Dorothy was known for making holidays and birthdays truly special—through homemade cakes, shared meals, laughter, and even the occasional food fight. Her home was a place of warmth and belonging, where everyone felt welcome and loved. She taught everyone around her how to turn the ordinary days into the cherished moments. Whether she was teaching a card game, showing her grandchildren how to draw, sharing stories or just simply being present in the moment, she showed others how to live life to the fullest with the simple things.

Her home was always open and welcoming to anyone who wanted to enter. She had a way of making every person feel like family.

To many, she was more than a wife, sister, daughter and mother- she was a second mom. Her love poured out freely, leaving a lasting imprint on countless hearts.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Eaden; son, Robert Pruett; daughter, Brittany Gandy; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; brother, Jim Moore; and sisters, Dora Mangum & Faye Cody. She is preceded in death by her son, William Pruett; brothers, John Moore, William Cas Moore, Jr. (Buck) & Daniel Moore; and sister, Nellie Moore Millsaps.
