Earl J Butler

Mr. Earl J. Butler, age 82, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026 in Gainesville, Georgia. He was born to the late J.D. Butler and Minnie Smith on March 7, 1943 in Clermont, Georgia.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date through Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mr. Butler was a retired business owner who owned several businesses in the Gainesville area throughout his lifetime.

Mr. Butler is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Paula Jean McKee; brothers, Kenneth Butler, Carlis Butler, Arnold Butler; and sister, Charlotte Gunter.

He is survived by his children, Jay Butler of Woodstock, GA, Brandi Phagan of Gillsville, GA, Sheryl Berry; sisters, Doris Byers of Carabelle, FL, Debora Jones of Flowery Branch, GA, Judy Senter of Flowery Branch, GA; 5 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
