Edward Dean Obituary

Mr. Edward Larry Dean, 73, of Homer, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville Campus following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be announced later.

Born on May 24, 1950 in Clayton, GA, he was the son of the late Wiley Joe and Thelma Motes Dean. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Dean was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Dean was preceded in death by his wife, Shelia Ann Poole Dean.

Mr. Dean is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Charles and Tabitha Dean of Cleveland, Jason and Sara Dean of Lula, Shawn Dean of Homer; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Dean and a number of other loving relatives.
