Mrs. Ellen Banks Mills, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 in Gainesville, Georgia. She was born to the late Joseph Edward Banks and Eleanor Bellah Banks on January 15, 1954 in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Mrs. Mills is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Marvin Wayne Banks; and sister, Laura Banks McDonald.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory Mills of Dahlonega; daughter, Lori Mills Biddulph (Scott) of Dahlonega; son, Greg Spencer Mills of Greenville, SC; granddaughter, Zoe Rebekah Mills of Athens, brother, Joseph Mark Banks of Canton; and sister-in-law, Mary Jane Banks of Canton.
