Ernest Michael Buffington

Mr. Ernest Michael Buffington, age 60, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia. He was born to the late Ernest Llewellen “Bud” Buffington and Mildred Gowan on September 24, 1965 in Gainesville, Georgia.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Harmony Hall Baptist Church. Pastor John Kinsey and Brother-in-law Clark Taylor will officiate the service. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Harmony Hall Baptist Church on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

Mr. Buffington is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ricky Sosebee, Ronald Sosbee; sisters, Sheila McDuffie, Yvonne Dodd; nephews, Rodney and Brian.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Taylor Buffington; stepchildren, Michael, Will; five grandchildren; nieces, Tonya, Stacie, Kelley, Tammy; nephews, David, Paul, Chris; siblings, Johnetha (Robyn) Stringer, Cherly (Irby) Lawley, Robert (Karen) Sosebee; and a special extended family, Ranjit (Pushpa) Patel and their sons.
