Ernest Elmer Gilleland

Mr. Ernest Elmer Gilleland, age 96, of Clermont, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Wahoo Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the Church, with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.

Mr. Gilleland was born February 20, 1929 in Hall County, He was the son of the late J. Henry Gilleland and Laura (Wilson) Gilleland. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Ruby (Smith) Gilleland.

Ernest was a member of Wahoo Baptist Church. He was also retired from Chicopee Mill.

He is survived by his children, Kenneth and Barbara Moore, Marvin and Barbara Moore and Teresa Korinis; grandchildren, Matt and Diedra, Chris and Sheryl, Chuck, Anthony and Carol, Lane and Hannah, and Emily; Jason, Steven and Allison; Dominic and Cassie; Shaunte and Matt; great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Cameron, Abby, Gracie, Ruthie Bell, Colten and Ansley, Elijah, Levi and Noah; special cousin, Junior Wilson, and a number of other family and friends also survive.
