Etheleen (Chambers) Nolan

Mrs. Etheleen Chambers Nolan, 87, of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Chestnut Ridge Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2024 in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Born on August 10, 1936 in Flowery Branch, she was the daughter of the late John Fletcher and Eunice Ewing Chambers. She retired from Belk in 1992 where she worked in alterations.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nolan was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Leonard Nolan, Sr.; sons, Joe Leonard Nolan, Jr., Daniel Lawrence Nolan; brothers, John Fletcher Chambers, James Herman Chambers, and Clarence Bartow Chambers.

Mrs. Nolan is survived by her son, Robert Lee Nolan of Lawrenceville; daughter, Alice Lorraine Nolan Griffin and husband, Scott of Gainesville; brothers, Daniel Lee Chambers of Oakwood, Robert Dean Chambers of Flowery Branch; grandson, Robert (Bobby) Lee Nolan of Dahlonega; granddaughters, Amy Michele Nolan, Rachel Ann Nolan, Alisha Merceia Nolan, Victoria Joleen Nolan all of Dahlonega, Harlee Cheyenne Griffin of Gainesville; Sierra Nicole Griffin of Gainesville; a number of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
