Fátima Lizbeth González Mejía, de 29 años, falleció el viernes 12 de diciembre de 2025 en el Hospital Universitario Emory de Atlanta, Georgia. Nació el 29 de mayo de 1996 en San Salvador, El Salvador, hija de Santos Mejía de González y del difunto José Víctor González.

Fatima Lizbeth Gonzalez Mejia, age 29, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born to Santos Mejia de Gonzalez and the late Jose Victor Gonzalez on May 29, 1996 in San Salvador, El Salvador.

A mass will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 2:00 PM at St. Michael Catholic Church. Father Jorge Carranza will officiate the service. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Fatima is preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her mother, Santos Mejia de Gonzalez of Gainesville; spouse, Ashley Davis of Gainesville; and a close friend, Araseli Gonzalez of Gainesville.
