Mr. Franklin Delano Roberts, age 89, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026 in Gainesville, Georgia. He was born to the late William Roberts and Donnie Irvin Roberts on August 17, 1936 in Franklin County, Georgia.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Reverend Jeff Morgan will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the Funeral Home on Monday, March 16, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Dewey Roberts, Mack Roberts, Jobie Roberts, and Henry Roberts.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Roberts of Gainesville, GA; children, Tammy Pretts of Talmo, GA. Tanya (Tim) Eison of Hoschton, GA, Tiffaney Roberts of Gainesville, GA, Terry Roberts of Gainesville, GA, Travis (Alicia) Roberts of Conway, SC; siblings, Queenola Carlan of Commerce, GA, Sue Davidson of Gainesville, GA, C.B. Roberts of Gainesville, GA, Arthur (Mary Ann) Roberts of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Kristy Smith, Will Cooper, Will Eison; and great-grandchildren, Joanna, Scarlett, Maddox, Brooks, and Waylon.
