Fred Howell Lancaster

Mr. Fred Howell Lancaster, age 79, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, in Gainesville, Georgia. He was born to the late Frank and Margaret Lancaster on August 4, 1946, in Gainesville, Georgia.

A devoted man of God and a master of his craft, he lived his life by his Baptist faith and his deeply ingrained work ethic. He was a long-life member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He was a skilled and dedicated carpet installer for many years.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Lancaster is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank Lancaster, Jr. and J. H. Lancaster. 

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judy Lancaster of Gainesville; son, Todd Lancaster of Gainesville; grandson, Justin Lancaster of Gainesville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
