Mrs. Freddie Elizabeth Marshall Jackson was born in Anderson, S.C. on September 17, 1948 to the late Mrs. Lola Louise Revels Marshall and the late Mr. Fred Marshall. She departed her earthly life on April 13th, 2026, after an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by her Husband of twenty-seven (27) years, Mr. Albert Lee Jackson, her step-son, Mr. Michael Jackson, her Mother and her Father and her step-father, Mr. Horace Stringer.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories: Two Step-daughters, Mrs. Karen (Corey) Nicely of San Antonio, TX, and Mrs. Tonya (Juan) Rivera of Cornelia, GA, six (6) step-grandchildren and two (2) Step-great-grandchildren, three (3) sisters, Ms. Juanita Lockwood of Flowery Branch, GA, Ms. Marilyn Fortson of Gainesville, GA, Ms. Denise Stringer of Demorest, GA, One (1) Brother, Mr. Horace Gregory Stringer of Brunswick, GA, two (2) Sisters-in-law, one (1) Brother-in-Law, a host of nieces, nephews, a special niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Wicki (Marie) Boyd of Palmetto, GA, many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews, many cousins, and many special friends.
Mrs. Jackson joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Clarkesville, GA at an early age. She was baptized under the leadership of the late Pastor W.B. Hawks. She was an active member throughout her early years of life participating in worship services, Sunday School, Bible School, Girls Red Circle Ministry, and the Choir. Once Mrs. Jackson moved from the North Georgia Mountains, she continued serving in her Baptist Faith worshiping at various churches. In her latter years she attended services at Free Chapel of Gainesville.
Mrs. Jackson had a remarkable career whereby she served as a Supervisor in Management in a number of manufacturing companies including Gainesville Manufacturing, Avery Dennison of Flowery Branch, GA, and Tensar Corporation of Morrow Georgia.
Mrs. Jackson was very professional in her cooking and baking skills. She enjoyed preparing meals and serving her family members with her delicious goodies. She also enjoyed traveling to various places in and out of the country.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. April 17, 2026 at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. prior to the service at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
