Garnett Miller Jr. Obituary

Mr. Garnett Miller Jr., 88, of Gainesville, Ga passed away February 19, 2026.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday February 24 at 1:00 at Timberidge Baptist Church.  Rev. Terry Poole and Rev. Alvin Burns will officiate the service. Interment will in Timberidge Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home 2030 Memorial Park Dr Gainesville, Ga 30504. Monday February 23 from 2-4 and 6-8.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents Garnett Miller Sr and Mrs. Alma Miller, his wife Mrs. Barbara Miller, and son-in-law James (Junior) McNeal.

He was the oldest of 12 children.  He was retired from Coronet Carpet.

His is survived by daughter Cheryl McNeal of Gainesville, daughter Becky Cruse of Gainesville, son David Miller (Pam) of Lula, grandson Michael McNeal, granddaughter Kimberly Sullens (Timmy), Grandson Jeremy Miller, grandson Corey Miller (Angie), granddaughter Talaina Pederson (Drew), as well as a number of great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sister-in-law Dot Stephens (Robert) and brother-in-law Marvin Peek (Helen) and a number of nieces and nephews.
