Mr. Glenn Dwight Crane, age 78, of Braselton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, in the Chapel of Memorial Park Braselton Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Memorial Park Braselton Funeral Home to share memories and honor his life.
Mr. Crane was born on August 16, 1947, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Howard Crane and Nadine Peek Crane. He was a proud grandfather to 20 grandchildren and 17great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ruby Kathaleen “Kathy” Crane; daughters, Cindy (Jimmy) Sorrow and Amy Cates; grandchildren, Devonte Stephens, Alyssa Stephens, and Kimberleigh Stephens; sister, Marlene Bennett; brother, Jerry Crane; special niece, Crystal (Judy) Stone; special nephew, Todd Stephens; and brother/sister in laws, Carl (Wanda) Stephens, Clara Dyer, Mary Sullens, Ralph Stephens.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Crane was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Crane; son, Johnny Crane; daughter, Sondra Crane; special niece, Tiffany Stephens; brothers, Samuel Lamar Crane, Bernard Crane, and Larry (Elizabeth) Crane; sister, Gail Crane; and brother/sister in laws, Elizabeth Stephens, Danny Dyer, Chub Sullens, Joan Stephens.
Mr. Crane will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his enduring faith, and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind.
