Graypell Dunn Delong

Ms. Graypell Dunn Delong, Age 78, of Oakwood, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Gainesville Campus, surrounded by her family.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 5pm-8pm, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home, in Flowery Branch. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Memorial Park South, at 11am, on Friday, May 15, 2026. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery – Gainesville.

Graypell was born in Gainesville, Georgia on July 24,1947, to the late Starr Dunn and Fannie Abercrombie. She was retired from Mar – Jac Poultry.

Graypell Delong was a loving and devoted Mother, Sister and Friend. She  enjoyed spending time with loved ones and bonding. Before her health declined in her spare time you would find her gardening, canning jellies and vegetables, crocheting, crafting, working on puzzles or cooking delicious meals for her family. She will be remembered for her dedication to family, strength and perseverance but must of all her unconditional love.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Clark Youngblood; and her brothers, James and Dewey Dunn.

She is survived by her children, Craig Clark (Donya), Flowery Branch, Keith Clark (Terri), Oakwood; sisters, Laura Dyer (Mike), Gainesville, and Virgian McElhenney (Johnny), Gainesville, and Velma Smith, Gainesville; grandchildren, Kellen Clark, Kelsey Clark, Logan Youngblood, and Landon Youngblood; along with six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives.
