Harold Leon Edge

Mr. Harold Leon Edge, age 81, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026 in Gainesville, Georgia. He was born to the late Lillian “Groover” Edge and Jesse Edge on June 3, 1945 in Gainesville, Georgia.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Reverend Bobby Ivestor will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Edge is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Martha Sue Edge; son, Tony Leon Edge; and several siblings.

He is survived by his sons, Tim (Cassie) Edge of Gainesville, GA, Scott Edge of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Victoria Edge, Ashley Hathcock, Robby Edge, Terry Adams; great-grandchildren, Ryan Martin, Cody Martin, Weston Hathcock, Elliot Hathcock; siblings, William Edge of Gainesville, GA, Betty Ray Edge of Gainesville, GA; brother-in-law, Guy (Kathy) Dale of Gainesville, GA; and daughter-in-law, Linda Edge of Clevland, GA.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Drive, Gainesville, Georgia 30504 is in charge of the arrangements.
