Hector Armando Terrazas

Mr. Hector Armando Terrazas, age 94 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 26, 2026, at Memorial Park South Chapel with Rev. Jim Austin officiating. For those unable to attend, the service will be available for viewing at Hector Terrazas Service.

Mr. Terrazas was born December 14, 1931, to the late Pedro Terrazas Ortiz & Dora Rodriguez Terrazas in Chihuahua, Mexico. He was a proud graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and a retired engineer with Ford Motor Company out of Dearborn, Michigan. His work took him all over the country, as well as to Mexico, Venezuela, Spain, and Japan.

He is survived by his son, Michael Terrazas (Shelly); daughters, Tina Stubbs (Stephen) & Patty Terrazas; grandchildren Amanda Coker Weiss (Bert); Ashley Papastefanou (Richard), Andrew Brown, Lincoln Stubbs, Michaela White (Larkin), Adam Pugh, Alexandra Terrazas and Maddox Terrazas; great-grandchildren Brynleigh Papastefanou, Elias Papastefanou, Christopher Papastefanou, Asa Coker; brother-in-law Jack Langford; sisters-in-law Irma Herrera Terrazas, Ann Stamey; and numerous nephews and nieces. He was a mentor to many throughout his life.

In addition to his parents and siblings, he was preceded in death by his wife, Willene Stamey Terrazas, and his grandson, Taylor Morgan Woodall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation or the Georgia Tech Foundation, Inc.
