Holly Marie Barras

Mrs. Holly Marie Barras, age 38 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025.

Mrs. Barras was born May 27, 1987, to Michael & Penny Holland Mantooth on Scott Air Force base in Rantoul, Illinois. She was a graduate of Dacula High School in Dacula Georgia and finished her bachelor’s degree at North Georgia State University. She was a pharmacy technician with CVS in Flowery Branch. Her greatest love and devotion was for her children.

She is survived by her husband, James Brendle; children Brandon Barras, Caleb Barras, Ilana Brendle, and Gavin Brendle; parents, Michael & Penny Mantooth; and brother, Michael Mantooth (and his wife Jessica).

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Pastor Joe Marsh will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
