Howard Michael Hollis

Mr. Howard Michael Hollis, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 in Gainesville, Georgia. He was born to the late Fred Hollis and Georgia Crumley Thomas on November 12, 1948 in Jefferson, Georgia. 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home at 3:00 PM. Reverend Stanley Peck will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mr. Hollis is preceded in death by his parents; son, James Michael Hollis; and wife, Charlotte Hollis. 

He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Flanagan (Stanley) of Gainesville; Michelle Smallwood (Tony) of Cornelia; son, Marty Hollis of Gainesville; grandchildren, C.J. Hagedorn, Haley Flanagan, Shae Flanagan, Sarah Smallwood, Amanda Hane, Ryan Hollis, Dalton Hollis, Johnathon Hampton; siblings, Pat Haynes, Glenda Taylor, Steve Hollis, Glenn Thomas; great-grandchildren, Weston Hollis, Tristan Hollis Olivia Flanagan, C.J. Hagedorn, Julie Hagedorn ; brother-in-law, Alan Hudson; and sister-in-law, Sherry Hudson.
