James Howard Page passed away on January 17, 2026 at the age of 95, He was born to Horace and Mabel Page of Lakemont, Ga on April 5, 1930.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, LaVerne Page; daughters Joy Page and Tammy Martz; grandchildren Erin Martz, Joseph Martz and Bradley Bohn, and his brother Wayne Page.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his daughter Gina LaVerne Page; siblings Glen Page, Ashley Page, Ellie Page Russell, Mary Page Welch, Catherine Page Eller, Hellen Page, Wilma Page Camp and Beverly Page Wright.
Howard, as he was known, and his wife enjoyed travelling, having travelled through all of the 50 states as well as most of Canada. He enjoyed gospel singings, having traveled the southeast to gospel singing conventions for over 80 years. He also enjoyed antique and classic cars, owning, restoring, showing, and touring with them.
He served in the Army during the Korean War. He considered it an honor to have served his country.
Howard had two jobs in his lifetime; 18 years with an accounting firm and 22 years with McKibbon Brothers as controller, secretary and treasurer; retiring in 1988.
Funeral services will be held at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 12:00pm. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm and from 11:00 am to the funeral hour on Friday, January 23, 2026.
