Jackie Bryant Johnson

Jackie Bryant Johnson, born July 4th, 1943, entered eternal rest on December 22, 2025. She was a loving, caring, and devoted mother, grandmother, and sister whose kindness and strength touched everyone who knew her.

Jackie is survived by her beloved son, David A. Johnson (Renetta); her treasured grandchildren, Megan Johnson and Casey Johnson; and her dear brother, Frank Bryant. She was preceded in death by her husband David G. Johnson and parents, Alex Jack Bryant and Virginia Bryant.

Jackie was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she lived with her parents and her brother Frank Bryant. She also lived in Mobile, Alabama, near David’s (Renetta) extended family. Jackie embraced extended family as her own and held those relationships close to her heart.

Known for her positive spirit and warm presence, Jackie was happiest when surrounded by family. Though arthritis challenged her for most of her life, she never complained and never allowed it to break her strength or independence. Her resilience, kindness, and determination were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Jackie will be deeply missed and forever loved. She has gone on to be with the Lord, united with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
