James Franklin Brown

Mr. James Franklin Brown, age 79, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia. He was born to the late Foster & Jessie Mae Hardman Brown on October 30, 1945 in Jefferson, Georgia.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his parents, 7 sisters, and 1 brother.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Brown Mahaffey (Gainesville), Jennifer Robinson (Gainesville); grandchildren, Jessica Brown, Jordan Mahaffey, Jayden Mahaffey; great-grandchildren, Julian Mahaffey and Jade Mahaffey; caregivers, Anna & Tamkio.
