James Hartwell Taylor

Mr. James Hartwell Taylor, age 86, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 in Cleveland, Georgia. He was born to the late Frank James and Emma Lee “Jackson” Taylor on April 4, 1939 in Gainesville, Georgia.

A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Reverend Lamar Purcell and Reverend Tommy Hunt will officiate the service. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.  

Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanene Taylor and parents.

He is survived by his children, Renee (Michael) Shay of Gillsville, Robin Williams of New Holland, Hartwell (Nicole) Taylor of Cleveland; grandchildren, Makayla Williams, Ashton Williams, Jacob Taylor, Nick Morelli, Alyssa Rogers, Daniella Morelli; great-grandson, Alistair Taylor; and several great-grandchildren.
