James Pitts

James Pitts passed away in his home on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 following an extended illness. He is survived by his daughter, Allison and son-in-law, Tyler Kucifer, and granddaughter Ramona (Woodstock, GA); daughter, Sara Pitts (Cranston, RI), and son, James Pitts (Hampton, VA), Step-Sons Danial Griffin (Gillsville, GA) and Devan Griffin (Suwannee, GA) as well as his brother David Marshall (Dacula GA)

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 12:00 PM. Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate the service.  The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Gainesville, GA chapter of the Disabled American Veterans
