Jeanny Patrice Helton

Mrs. Jeanny Patrice Helton, age 67 of Gainesville, Ga. passed away January 10, 2026, at her residence. She was born to the late Edward Eugene Smith and Vivian Thomas Smith on March 17, 1958, in Gainesville, Ga.

A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home at 2:00 PM. Rev. Allen Passmore, Rev. Terry Sosebee and Rev. Dexter Gravitt will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Mercy Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday January 12, 2026, from 4 pm until 8pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mrs. Helton is preceded in death by her father, Edward Eugene Smith

She is survived by her husband Rev. Carl Helton (Lula, Ga); daughters, April Worley (Mikey) of Maysville, Ga., Nicole Stanley (Charles) of Homer, Ga., Carla Wilbanks (Johnathan) of Lula, Ga.; granddaughters, Amber Worley (Tyler), Beth Worley, Jacqueline Whisinant (Brayden), Gyna Tullis (Timmy), Becca Wilbanks, grandsons, Joshua Whisinant; Colton Wilbanks and Cohen Wilbanks;  7 great-grandchildren; her Mother, Mrs. Inez Smith and brothers, Michael Smith (Joann) and Phillip Smith (Joann).  A host of other relatives also survive.
