Jerry Hudgins Obituary

April 20, 1957 - November 13, 2023

Jerry Douglas Hudgins, sixty-six of Clarkesville GA, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2023. He was born on April 20, 1957, in Decatur Georgia to Joseph Dillard and Vergie Beatrice Hudgins and brother to late Huge Bramlett Hudgins, late Margaret Louise Mooney, Nonnie Sue McDaniel, Mattie Ruth Adam, Herman Dillard Hudgins, late Charles Edwin Hudgins, Billy Lamar Hudgins and Joseph Harrison Hudgins.

He is survived by his loving devoted wife Vicki McMahan Hudgins, children Kasey Robertson Price married to Estevan Ray Price, Amanda Louise Greenwald and married Robert Evan Greenwald, William Brian Bagby, Zachary Daniel King and his wife Zoe Aleksandra King, and grandchildren Skylar McCray Price, Raeleigh Maria Price, Baylee King, Brentlee King, Lealand King, and Enzleigh King.

Jerry Douglas Hudgins was a remarkable man who touched the lives of many. He loved his children as his own and loved them unconditionally. They were the children he chose, and he was the father they needed. Jerry raised them with love, guidance, and unwavering support, helping them navigate life's challenges and struggles with wisdom and courage. He taught them to face life head-on and to never look back with regret.

Coming from a musical family of nine children, Jerry had a deep love for music. He was a talented musician who shared his passion with everyone he met. His love for music was infectious, and he inspired others to appreciate and embrace its beauty.

However, his greatest love and joy in life was his wife, Vicki. He would say she is the women he waited his whole life to love, and he loved her with his whole heart. Jerry and Vicki shared a love that was truly special. They were inseparable and their bond was an inspiration to all who knew them. They built a life together filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Their love was a shining example of commitment, support, and unwavering devotion.

In addition to their love for each other, Jerry and Vicki enjoyed driving the back roads to get lost, a weekend at the casino, mountain rides on their motorcycle, fishing and beach trips to Jerry’s favorite spot creating memories that will be treasured forever. Their love story will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to witness it.

Jerry will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the love he shared with his family. He had a heart of gold and a spirit that touched the lives of all who knew him. His legacy will live on through the love and memories he leaves behind.
