Jeslyn DeBaltz Obituary

Jeslyn Ann DeBaltz, 48, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side and her family in her heart. Jeslyn was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend whose light will forever shine in the lives of those who loved her.

To know Jeslyn—“Jez,” as so many affectionately called her—was to know someone unforgettable. She was fiercely beautiful, endlessly loving, and wonderfully spirited. Her laughter was infectious—the kind that could fill a room and lift everyone in it. She had an energy that drew people in: vibrant, magnetic, and real. No matter what life brought her way, she always found humor and grace, meeting each day with strength and an open heart.

Jeslyn loved life in all its color and beauty. She had an adventurous soul that carried her across the world to Africa, Mexico, and France, but she also found magic in simple things: the warmth of sunshine, bare feet in the grass, laughter around the dinner table, and quiet moments surrounded by those she loved most. She was known for her passion for beauty and style, and her gift for making any house a home. She believed deeply in the guidance of angels and in the signs the universe would send her.

Her greatest joy, without question, was being a mother. Her daughters, Portia (16) and Eastyn (9), were her entire world, the lights of her life. She wanted them to always know how deeply she loved them and how proud she was of the beautiful young women they are becoming.

Jeslyn faced her battle with metastatic breast cancer with the same courage, humor, and determination that defined her life. She fought with all she had—for her family, for her girls, and for the life she loved so much. Despite the miles between them, her lifelong best friend, Renee, remained a constant source of love and support, traveling to be with her through her hardest days and celebrating moments of strength and joy right alongside her.

Jeslyn was unapologetically herself—strong, funny, spiritual, and full of life. She had a quick wit, a contagious smile, and a heart that held space for everyone. Her beauty was undeniable, but it was her love, her courage, and her light that left the most lasting impression.

She is survived by her mother, Paula O’Claire, and stepfather, James Doll; her brother, Gabriel; her younger twin brothers, Wesley and Denny; her beloved husband, Benjamin Tingle; her daughters, Portia and Eastyn; and her step-daughters, Madeleine and Kerrigan.

Jeslyn’s strength and love will live on through her family, through the laughter she inspired, and through the many lives she touched. Though the ache of missing her will never fade, we find comfort knowing she is now at peace, surrounded by angels, just as she always believed.
