Jimmy Lee Turpin

Mr. Jimmy Lee Turpin, 71, of Winder passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Piedmont Athens Regional.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. J.T.  Turpin will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Born on May 9, 1951 in Cumming, GA, he was the son of the late Lester and Lillie Mae Dover. He was a retired painter.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Turpin was preceded in death by his daughters, Jennifer Turpin, Marisa Turpin; brothers, Emory Turpin and Eugene Turpin.

Mr. Turpin is survived by his sons, Joey Turpin of Jefferson, Lee Turpin of Winder; sisters, Melba Lemley of Gainesville, Ruby Hall of Gainesville, Rose Jordan of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Justice Turpin, Jennifer Turpin, Marie Turpin, Laura Turpin and a number of other loving relatives.
