JoAnn Beverly Ortiz

Mrs. JoAnn Beverly Ortiz, age 84, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, in Gainesville, Georgia. She was born to the late Bailey & Gertie Patterson on March 24, 1942, in Gainesville, Georgia.

She was a loving wife and mother and the glue that held the family together. She was admired for her strength and kindness. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Reverend Jessie Macias will officiate the service. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ortiz is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Hubert Ortiz; daughters, Sandra (Jose) Macias, Ellene (Randall “Moose”) Deaton, Patricia (Melvin) Crocker, Janice (Tony) Graham, Sharon (Sid) Thompson; grandchildren, Jesse’ Macias, David Macias, Elena Macias, Rachel Macias, Alisa Macias, Jason Deaton, Glen McAllister, Felicia Rider, Dusty Graham, Jennifer Grantham, Chance Whitfield, Jordon Threlkeld, Chloe Wright, Tracy Threlkeld, James Threlkeld, Tanna Thompson, Rebecca Thompson; sons, Raymond Threlkeld and Joseph Threlkeld.
