John Michael Bacon

Mr. John Michael Bacon, age 82 of Braselton, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026 at his home, surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 16, 2026 at Memorial Park South Chapel with private interment at a later date at Bellevue Memorial Gardens of Grovetown. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Bacon was born June 16, 1943 to the late John Bacon & Orevella Lloyd Bacon in Elmira, New York. He was a decorated Veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from the Savannah River Site and the Army.  

He is survived by his son, Andrew (Tatyana) Bacon; daughters, Theresa (Ray) Jenkins & Susan (William) Carty; brothers, Edward (Mary) Bacon & Thomas Bacon; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Chun Sun Bacon; 1 brother; and two sisters.
