Mr. John Larry Hatch, age 83, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026. He was born to the late Otto Hatch and Annie Dale Hatch on January 14, 1943 in Rome, Georgia. In his youth, Larry loved riding motorcycles. He was an avid sportsman who loved the outdoors, cooking, gardening, fishing, and most of all loved his wife and family.
A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Allen Mills Worship Pastor will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald (Carole) Hatch; and sister, Sue (James) Howard.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Gail Hatch of Gainesville, GA; children, Kaye (Greg) Cox of Dawsonville, GA, Yvette (David) Allison of Dawsonville, GA; grandchildren, Teresa (Jonathan) Bowen, Nicole Pittman, Brenda Chadale Jones, Cody (Brittany) Cox; siblings, David (Patsy) Hatch of Cedartown, GA, Mackey (Vollie) Hatch of Ringgold, GA, Patricia (Oscar) McMahan of Cedartown, GA, Joan (Kenneth) Hulsey of Cedartown, GA; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted, but those who wish, please make donation to the Cancer Society, 615 Oak St B, Gainesville, GA 30501.
