John Patrick Barrett, Jr.

John Patrick Barrett, Jr., age 77 of Braselton, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning April 14, 2026 with his loving wife Linda, daughter Jennifer Perez, and son-in- law Julian Perez by his side. 

Jack was born January 29, 1949 to the late John Patrick Barrett, Sr. & Doris Sella Barrett in Patterson, New Jersey. Before his retirement in 2016, he was Vice President of the Electrical Sales Division at SKF Industries, and had worked for the company over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved playing golf and fishing. He was a long time member of Royal Lakes Golf and Country Club, and looked forward to golfing trips with his buddies and the couples trips to Myrtle Beach. 

In addition to his wife, Linda, Jack is survived  by his daughter Jennifer Perez and her husband Julian Perez of Gainesville, GA; son, Jack Barrett III of Sussex, NJ; daughters Tamara Kampfer of Raleigh NC; Dawn Crosby and her husband Patrick of Gainesville, GA; 5 Grandchildren, and one Great Granddaughter. 

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00-7:00, Monday April 20th at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
