Mr. Jorge Eliecer Borrero Mosquera, 67, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church.  Father Carlos Vargas will officiate.

Born on October 29, 1956 in Cali, Columbia, he was the son of Graciela Mosquera and the late Luis Carlos Borrero.  He was retired from the Mechanical Engineering Industry. Mr. Borrero was of the Catholic faith.

Mr. Borrero is survived by his partner, Linda Cancel of Gainesville; son, Jorge Andres Borrero of Braselton; daughters, Lina Borrero of Cumming, Valentina Borrero of Oakwood; mother of his children, Nora; grandchildren, Marianne, Sophie, Mateo, Amelia; sisters and brothers, Fabiola Borrero, Fanny Borrero, Alberto Borrero, Carlos Borrero, Nelly Borrero and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Nacido el 29 de Octubre de 1956 en Cali, Colombia, era hijo de Graciela Mosquera y del fallecido Luis Carlos Borrero. Estaba jubilado de la industria de la ingeniería mecánica. El señor Borrero era de fe católica.

Al Sr. Borrero le sobreviven su pareja, Linda Cancel de Gainesville; su hijo, Jorge Andrés Borrero de Braselton; sus hijas, Lina Borrero de Cumming, y Valentina Borrero de Oakwood; la madre de sus hijos, Nora; sus nietos, Marianne, Sophie, Mateo,y Amelia; sus hermanas y hermanos, Fabiola Borrero, Fanny Borrero, Alberto Borrero, Carlos Borrero, Nelly Borrero y varias sobrinas, sobrinos y otros parientes amorosos.
