Mr. Jose Miguel Mendoza Ortiz, age 62, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026 in Gainesville, Georgia. He was born to the late Guadalupe Mendoza and Maria Carmen Ortiz on June 11, 1963 in Valle de Santiago, Mexico.
The family will be receiving friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
Mr. Mendoza Ortiz is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Elida Mendoza, Luis Mendoza, and Daniel Mendoza.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Mendoza of Gainesville, GA; children, Mari Carmen Mendoza of Gainesville, GA, Viridiana (Luis) Llanes of Green Bay, WI, Victor (Sabrina) Mendoza of Colona, IL; grandchildren, Emiliano and Aurora Mendoza Pantoja of Colona, IL; and siblings, Valentin Mendoza of Davenport, IA, Adolfo Mendoza of Moline, IL, and Santurnian Mendoza of Moline, IL.
