Joseph Anthony Ewing, age 69, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on March 20, 2026. He was born on September 28, 1956.
Joseph was preceded in death by his father, James Monroe Ewing Sr.; his mother, Mary Josephine Tipton; his grandparents, Joseph and Susan Ewing; his brothers, Monnie Ewing, Jerome Ewing, and Danny Ewing; and his great-grandchildren, Bracksten Ewing and Stetson Ewing.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Ewing; his children, Tony and Jennifer Ewing, Thomas Ewing, Traci Gilstrap, Joe and Renee Ewing, and Joseph and Tara Ewing; and his stepchildren, Christina and Ed.
Joseph also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Drew and Chelsea Bryant, Dylan and Mariah Abercrombie, Marlana and Zachary Maxwell, Alexis Gibson and Tori Lunsford, Noah and Makayla Ewing, Thomas Ewing, Dean and Nicole Ewing, Ty and Erin Ewing, Tanner Ewing, Bryson Ewing, Bree Ewing, Josiah Ewing, Alaina Ewing, and Charlie Chadwick, along with 16 great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his siblings: Tommy and Jackie Ewing, Johnny Ewing, Kaye Hall, Marie and Arthur Hightower, Sharon Sheppard, and Lois and Jack Ashley, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Joseph was a faithful member of Christian Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 5:00 PM in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend James Ewing, Reverend Johnny Bryant, and Reverend Timothy Sullens will officiate the service.
