Joyce Buffington (Baugh) Vetrano

Mrs. Joyce Buffington Baugh Vetrano age 79 of Gainesville, Ga Passed away Saturday February, 7 2026. She was born to the late Decatur Wilson Buffington and Azzie Wilson August, 1 1946 in Gainesville, Ga. She retired from Jcpenney as a salesperson.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday February 10, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. Reverend Lamar Kastner will officiate the service. Internment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday February 9, 2026 from 12-2 and 5-7 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mrs.Vetrano is Preceded in death by her parent; husband, Frank Vetrano; Sisters Marie Harris (William), Myra Johnson, Martha Kenimer and Brother-in-law Marvin Sargent.

She is survived by her daughters, Kelly and Kurt Hewell of Lula, Ga, Tracy Cape of Lula, Ga, Jessie Odom (Ralph) of Richmond Hill, Ga Sister; Marvene (Johnny) Boyd of Gillsville, Ga, Joan Sargent of Gillsville, Ga, Jimmie (Bobby) Wallace of Gillsville Ga, Phyllis (Donny) Poole Gainesville, Ga, Gail Jones Gainesville, Ga.

Grandchildren; Bailey Hewell, Heather Black, Taylor Cobb, Tara Welty, Tyler Goss, Brandon Odom, And Rachel Odom

Great Grandchildren; Maddie Black, Emerie Black, Tessa Welty, Teagan Welty.

The family would to say a special thank you to hospice of Northeast Georgia for the love and compassion shown to our family during our mothers illness. We would also like to extend a special thank you to her special care givers Holly Byrd and Michelle Letson.
