Julianne Reiner Butler

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julianne Butler. Juli passed away peacefully on Monday, May 8, 2023 at the age of 72.

Born on April 22, 1951 in New York City, to the late Harold & Helen Reiner. Juli grew up in Hollywood, FL and went on to receive her bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Florida.

Juli was an accomplished home cook who loved nothing more than to whip up a delicious meal for her family and friends. She had a natural talent in the kitchen and enjoyed experimenting with new recipes and ingredients. Juli’s dinners were always a highlight for those who were lucky enough to partake in them.

When she wasn't in the kitchen, going to book club, watching movies or visiting with friends, Juli could often be found spending time with her grandchildren who she dearly loved.

Juli was a kind and generous person who touched the lives of many. She will be remembered for her infectious smile, her unwavering positivity, her “grandma pancakes”, and her love of life. She is survived by her husband, Jody, son & daughter-in-law, Craig & Melissa Butler; daughter & son-in-law, Leslie & Rob Colvin; grandchildren Elizabeth, Henry, Andrew and Charles.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, May 12, 2023 Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Rabbi Jordan Ottenstein will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 8:00pm Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
