Julius Wilson Kemp

Mr. Julius Wilson Kemp, age 53, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 in Gainesville, Georgia. He was born to Joan Ellen Anderson Kemp and the late Julius Wilson Kemp on August 4, 1972 in Gainesville, Georgia.

Devoted husband, father, son, and brother. Friend, role model, protector. Wilson loved the Dawgs, hunting, and history. He loved his family deeply, always supporting and encouraging us all. Forever missing you.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Scott Wilson will officiate the service. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Mr. Kemp is preceded in death by his father; grandmother, Pauline Anderson; grandfather, Elmus Kemp; grandmother, Mattie Kemp; late wife, Edith Kemp; aunts, Patricia Wilson, Alice Hampton, Julia Meeks; uncles, Jerry Anderson and Bill Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Kemp of Pendergrass; daughter, Breanna Skinner of Mt. Airy and her children; Lizzie Skinner, Gable Skinner, Mason Skinner; step-kids and numerous step-grandkids; sisters, Mary Clark, Sheri Harkins (Mike), Jennifer Kemp all of Gainesville; aunts, Lucille Woodall of Gainesville, Leon Gibbs of Gainesville; and a number of nieces, nephews and loving relatives.
