Katrena Idell (Ford) Jackson

Mrs. Katrena Idell Ford Jackson, age 77, of Gainesville, GA passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 4, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Sunday, June 4, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

She was born September 9, 1945, in Rock Hill, South Carolina to the late Clarence D. Ford and Etta Priest.  Mrs. Jackson retired as a Regional Manager of Mass Mutual Insurance Company.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, James Jackson; son, Louie William Scott; sister, Frances Ivey; brothers, Frank Ford and Clarence Dillard Ford, Jr.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Segers (Mark), of Mt. Airy, GA, Beth Cook (Shannon), of Lula, GA; sisters, Sally Grindle, Claudia Richardson, and Vanessa Ramzanali; grandchildren, Bill Scott Jr. (Jayna), Briana Castell (Brett), Marissa Cook (Jake), Cody Cook, Kerri Merriett (Michael), Christopher Shook (Tiffany), Amanda Price (Mark) and Marcus Segars (Laura).  Nine great grandchildren, ten nieces and nephews and a host of other loving relatives also survive.
