Kenneth Charles Adams

Kenneth Charles Adams, best known as Ken or Ace, age 80, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Adams was a lifelong resident of Hall County. He was born on August 8, 1945, to Charles and Carolyn Adams. He graduated from East Hall High School and then went on to attend college at Truett McConnell, University of Georgia and North Georgia College where he received his degrees in Education. Mr. Adams taught and coached at North Hall High School for 12 years. He operated A-Team Sports in Cumming, Georgia and then was a bailiff for Hall County Courts for a number of years. He was a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Gainesville, Georgia.

Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Linda Cape Adams, children Chuck Adams, Julie (Stan) Souther, grandchildren Ethan (Kortnee) Souther, Ben (Kristen) Souther, Wyatt Souther and Gracie Souther, as well as six great grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings, Doug (Pam) Adams and Sheila (Jerry) Riley and many nieces and nephews.

On his instructions, following a private Graveside service, family will receive friends on Friday, October 31, 2025 at 2:00 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with a Memorial Service following at 3:00.

 Flowers will be accepted or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church or Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

One of Ken’s favorite bible verses ~ Lamentations 3:22-23: “The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
