After a brief illness Susan passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones in her daughter’s home.
The most important things to her were her faith and her family.
She was active in women’s ministries, and Sunday school at FBC Powder Springs, Ga. She was passionate about card ministry and witnessing and giving Bible tracts to everyone.
In recent years she was a member of FBC, Lula, Ga.
She enjoyed homemaking and raising her six children. Her hobbies included dogs, horses, and a beautiful yard full of colorful flowers.
She was proceeded in death by son, Jim Stuart; daughter, Nettie Hogue; her father, Henry Shannon; mother, Susie Shannon; and brother, Randy Shannon
