Linda Jane (McDonald) Overby

Mrs. Linda Jane McDonald Overby, age 78 of Gainesville, Georgia has gone to her forever home on Monday, May 25, 2026. She was born to the late William Dewey and Laura Jane McDonald on July 12, 1947, in Gainesville, Georgia.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Reverend Drewery Loggins and Reverend Wayne Roper will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. 

Mrs. Overby is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lewis McDonald.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles Overby of Gainesville; daughter, Jennifer Overby of Gainesville; son, Mark Overby of Gainesville; granddaughter Jade Anderson; sister, Louise Roper, and other relatives, nieces and nephews.
