Linda Kay Staton

Mrs. Linda Kay Staton, age 78, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, in Gainesville, Georgia. She was born to the late George W. Marlowe, Jr. and Dorothy H. Marlowe on May 7, 1948, in Gainesville, Georgia.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Reverend Darryl Womack will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mrs. Staton is preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law, James Dills, Jr. 

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Staton of Gainesville; daughter, Julie Staton Dills of Gainesville; son, Michael Staton (Krista) of Tifton; grandchildren, Emily Staton of Tifton, Aaron Staton of Tifton, Jeb Dills (Kait) of Dahlonega; brothers-in-law, Lamar Staton (Shirley) of Gainesville, and Jerry Staton of Gainesville.
