Lindsey LaRoche Obituary

Lindsey Miriam LaRoche, 45, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of her parents.

Lindsey was born on December 23, 1980, in Rockledge, Florida, to Stu and Vicki LaRoche. Their first child, Lindsey immediately brought joy to her entire family with a bright smile and gentle spirit. She grew up in Lawrenceville, GA, graduating from Collins Hill High School in 1999.

Lindsey loved to sing, especially oldies and showtunes. She shared that joy with her church choir and school chorus, where she was a part of an off-Broadway production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, a memory she always cherished. Even when her health declined and her vocabulary became limited, Lindsey would hear a song from her past on the radio and often find the fortitude to sing-along.

Those who knew Lindsey will remember her outgoing sweetness. She would walk around the neighborhood with her dog, Lily, striking up conversations with all her neighbors. That friendliness made her a welcoming face at the community’s pool, where she served as a lifeguard during her high school years.

Lindsey’s desire for connection and fellowship led to her family founding The Next Stop Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to the social fulfillment and personal growth of  adults with special needs.

Lindsey was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Beverly LaRoche, Miriam and Fred Anguilla; and her beloved Lily.

She is survived by her parents; her brothers, Austin (Anna) and Tyler; and her nephews, Xavier and Tyson.

A celebration of Lindsey’s life will take place on March 15, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Bradford House & Gardens - 6648 McEver Rd, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. Visitation with the family will be prior to the service at 1:00 pm.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Hospice care team at Northeast Georgia Medical Center for their kindness and compassionate support.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to The Next Stop Foundation or the National MPS Society and that you turn the radio up and sing along to your favorite song today and all your tomorrows.
