Lori Dorothy Wiley Turpin of Clermont, Georgia, passed away in the presence of family on March 13th, 2026, at the age of 51.
Lori was born May 28, 1974, in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Joan and Leonard Wiley, Jr., one of 4 sisters. She worked for over 30 years as a nurse, offering care and compassion to her patients. She was the mother to two beautiful daughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joan and Leonard Wiley, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Lainie and Mallori Turpin, as well as her sisters and their spouses—Cindy Wiley and Swayne Oliver, Jane and Danny Thomas, and her twin, Leslie and Stacy Smith.
Lori was known by many for her sense of humor and warm personality. One of her favorite places to be was outside cultivating her many varieties of lilies, having inherited her mother’s green thumb. She was a lover of the classics, from classic rock to Classic Country Saturday Night. She will be deeply missed by all who had the fortune to know her.
