Loyd Richard Little, 71, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on April 15, 2026, following a brief illness. He was born on October 11, 1954.
Rick was a well-known local businessman with a deep passion for real estate and home renovation. He took pride in his work and found great joy in transforming spaces and building something meaningful for others. Outside of his professional life, Rick enjoyed spending his time on the golf course and on Lake Lanier, listening to live music, motorcycle rides through the mountains, and exploring his love of history. He had a wide range of interests and hobbies, and he lived life with energy and curiosity.
More than anything, Rick loved his family. He was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished every moment spent with those he loved. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he loved Jesus deeply. Rick was a dedicated member of Free Chapel, where his faith and community were an important part of who he was.
He was a graduate of North Hall High School and Lanier Technical College.
Rick was preceded in death by his father, Loyd Junior Little, and his mother, Johnnie Wofford.
He is survived by his children: Ryan Little; Rick Little and his wife, Megan Little; Jacqueline Adams and her husband, Bo Adams; and Victoria Humphrey and her husband, Baker Humphrey. He is also survived by his siblings: Larry Little of Mebane, North Carolina; Gail Childress of Gainesville, Georgia; and Patty Luna of Buford, Georgia.
Rick also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Abriana Little, Trent Little, Everett Little, Eleanor Little, Emerson Little, Jarrett Bolt, Jaleigh Adams, Jayce Adams, Jaelynn Adams, Lucas Humphrey, and Lilah Humphrey, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Rick will be remembered for his strength, his faith, his love for his family, and the lasting impact he made on those around him.
A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Rev. Milton Martin, Jr., Rev. Powell Sailors, Rev. Zack Johnson, and Rick Little will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Cemetery. The family will recieve friends on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
