Lucy Bell Ogden

Mrs. Lucy Bell Ogden, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia. She was born to the late Garnett & Bessie Adams on April 4, 1942 in Greene County, Georgia.

Mrs. Ogden was a loving mother & granny Lucy to many. She had the prettiest green thumb and could grow anything. She’ll be loved & missed by many. Especially by Longlegs & Chester.  

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Michael Clark will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ogden is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas J. Ogden; daughter, Darlene Grizzell and son in law Gary Grizzell; several sisters & 1 brother; grandson, Kenneth Chambers.

She is survived by her son, Terry Chambers of Murrayville, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Tracy (Michael) Delong of Gainesville, GA; lifelong partner, Floyd Swain of Gainesville, GA; brother, J.C. Adams of Washington; sisters, Sara Ann Turner of Ballground, GA, Ruby Watson of Cleveland, GA, Jeannie Dempsey of Gainesville, GA, Pearly Score of Dewy Rose, GA; grandchildren, Haleigh Turner (James), Ashley Odem (Nick), Joe Chambers, Jeff Chambers, Richard & Ashley Chambers, Randy & Cory Kerce, Quinton Chambers, Jackie Case (Cody); great-grandchildren, Kayson Maloch, Isaiah Maloch, Si Maloch, Sissy Maloch, Zay Odem, Nicholas Odem, Zoey Odem, London Odem, Griffin Case, Alexi Case, Ava Evans, Emma Evans, Aleah Turner, Brianna Kerce, Nevaeh Kerce, Caleb Johnson, Brandon Johnson, David Chambers, Abby Chambers, Adrian Chambers, Josh Chambers, Addison Chambers, Layla Chambers, K.J.
