Mack Wiley a beloved retired Lieutenant of the city of Gainesville Fire Department served the community for 26 years, passed away on May 13, 2026, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center surrounded by family.
He was born in Hall County January 2,1942. He was the son of the late Leco and Mabel Wiley of Gainesville, GA. He was also preceded in death by Papaw, Bill Rogers of Gainesville GA. Sister Tonie Ingram of Maysville GA.
Mack loved camping, golfing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a cherished husband, daddy, Papa, brother and friend. He will be remembered for his quick wit, always making a joke and he was a gentle spirit. Mack was a member of Dewberry Baptist Church #2 of Gainesville GA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Joyce Wiley; children, Cynthia (Chris) Young, Malcolm (Jennifer) Wiley; grandchildren, Chase Young, Kaylan Senter, Teagan Wiley; great-granddaughter, Everly Amon; and many more family and friends that he dearly loved.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior, 1-3 pm Saturday, May 23, at the funeral home, with the service to follow in the chapel. Reverend Amy Reems will officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dewberry Baptist Church # 2; PO Box 267 Clermont, GA 30527 in memory of Mack Wiley.
