Mrs. Margaret Hohenstein Hollis, age 66 of Braselton, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 3pm at Eagle Ranch.
Mrs. Hollis was born March 7, 1959 to the late Julius Winfred Hohenstein, Jr. & Joan Virginia Heaney Hohenstein in Huntington, West Virginia. She was a lab technician with Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton. She loved Jesus. As a stay at home mother for many years, she raised three children and loved them deeply. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life.
She is survived by her children, Jessica Sweeney of Hoschton, GA, James Hollis of Toccoa, GA, & Mary Hollis of Braselton, GA; grandchildren, Harper Rae Hollis, Mia Sweeney, Dominic Sweeney, & Malachi Sweeney; and siblings, Eric Hohenstein & Karen Hohenstein.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Alton Hollis.
